  • Referral letter from your GP or other doctor

  • Medicare card, DVA card, Pension card, Healthcare card

  • Private Health Insurance card

  • Copies of any imaging or pathology you have had in the last 6 months

  • A list of all medications that you are currently taking

  • A list of any known drug allergies and the symptoms you may have from taking these medicines

Q: Do I need a referral to make an appointment?

  • We accept only referred patients. This ensures that you receive appropriate care from specialists who have the expertise to address your specific health concerns.

Q. What are the Fees and accepted forms of Payment?

  • Our practitioners determine their fees individually, and they may vary depending on the service provided on the day.

  • We require full payment of your account on the day of your consultation. Payments may be made by cash, EFTPOS or credit card (Mastercard/Visa). Please contact us before the appointment if you have any queries or concerns.

Q: Does my Private Health Insurance cover any of the consultation cost?

  • No, private health insurance cannot be used to cover part of the consultation cost. There is a Medicare rebate for the consultation but this does not cover all of the consultation cost.

  • Private Health Insurance covers only in-hospital services, which means that if you need to undergo any procedures at the hospital, your insurance would provide cover for that. If you are not sure what your policy covers, it is always a good idea to check with insurance provider.

Q: Do you have Pathology Services on-site?

  • Laverty Pathology services are conveniently available onsite while our Specialists are consulting.
